Polyurethane foam touchscreen gasket

I'm replacing a broken touchscreen for a HP Pavilion Touchsmart 15-B129, but the new screen doesn't have the foam glued on it. None of the instructions I've found mention this in any way. I'm considering using a hair dryer to remove the foam, but the glue may be too messy and uneven, or it may rip, or it may be toxic to heat up because I don't know the heat tolerance of this stuff. I tried to shop for it online, but Google doesn't know what I'm talking about. The closest substitute I have found is a self-stick weatherseal that boasts resistance to cold but says nothing about heat, and I will have to modify it to fit correctly. The foam’s height is 2mm or 1/16th of an inch.
