I I ordered a new rear case online and it arrived and it has buttons that are separate from the case but I can’t seem to get them to work with the volume and power flex cable. They don’t touch the middle part of the flex that they should. Does anyone know whats the problem here? And do I need some aditional parts?

you need to take pieces from your old housing. at the end of the button there is a little clip that needs to be attached on the end of each button. hard to explain try looking up a guide.
