Hello, I've had my hitachi television for around 2 years and just now my television started going black, I turn on the tv it works perfectly for like 30 mins then goes black, I turn it off again and it works for another 30 minutes, when the screen is black I shine a torch into the screen and you can see little bits of the image, anyone know what is wrong with the TV

Chuckle you are losing your backlight. since it does it after a while, it could be an issue with the power board. You will have to remove the back of your TV and take a look at the boards. Check for any obvious damage like charred, missing or leaking, domed capacitors etc. Post some images of your boards with your question so that we can see what you see. Use this guide Aggiungere immagini ad una domanda for that. You will possibly need a multimeter to check a few things if nothing opbvious shows up. Let us know what you find. Also, please verify the exactodel number of your TV
