Front loader - loud noise at low spin

I have a LG front loader more than 5 years old. Recently it started making loud banging noise at the beginning and end of spin cycle. I also heard sounds randomly at times, which i think is when load is not too balanced.

I tested it at low spin (400) after adding some clothes and there was some really loud sound. So loud that i thought it will get damaged and stopped it immediately. Since then i am afraid to use it. There is no problem at high spin.

So what can be wrong with it? Since at higher spins there is no problem, i hope the drum is not damaged.

Appreciate any valuable suggestions!

Cause 1

Rear Drum with Bearing

The rear drum has a bearing or bearings in it to keep the inner tub spinning smoothly. If the tub bearing system is defective the washer can become very noisy. On some machines bearings are sold separately from the rear drum, however we recommend replacing both the outer drum and bearing as an assembly if the manufacturer offers the components together because removing and pressing in the new bearing can be exceptionally difficult. Be aware that replacing the outer tub and bearing is also not easy and can be very costly.

Cause 2

Bearing

The tub bearing is mounted in the middle of the outer tub. The tub bearing helps to keep the inner tub spinning smoothly. Replacing the tub bearing is a very involved repair and will require disassembling most of the washer. If the tub bearing is defective, we recommend replacing both the outer tub and bearing.

Cause 3

I ran ours with the top off and could see that the basin was bamming against the front panel of the cabinet.

This makes me think the shock absorber in the rear is blown, which would allow the basin to travel too much toward the front of the cabinet.

I've get an order coming tomorrow of 3 shocks so I can replace the rear one and the one on each side.

Meanwhile I put a pool noodle in between the basin and the front of the cabinet to prevent the excess travel. We've done a couple of loads since without any problem.
