Hello Everyone,
I have a weird issue with my phone, it register the touch ID just fine but when it comes to read or unlock the iPhone with finger print it just doesn't scan anything! it doesn't fail either just not scanning... What is causing it and what is the solution? can someone PLEASE help me out?

Has anything happened to this phone recently, such as a repair, a drop or contact with water?
The thing with TouchID is that it's not really repairable. If the button is damaged there's not much that can be done. If the HB flex is torn, it can theoretically be repaired but not usually in a practical sense. Only the Home Button Link Flex can be DIY replaced but that only fails when a repair goes wrong.
So if this failed out of the blue, your best bet is a screen replacement at Apple.
