Front Camera doesnt work, but earpiece and proximity sensor works?

Hey guys,

i was replacing my 7 plus screen, and when it came to reassembly, all went well, before i replaced the seal and closed it back up, i tested the components, and noticed my front (selfie) camera wasnt working. I tested other components on the same ribbon cable (earpiece and prox sensor) and both work well?

Here have been my troubleshooting steps

-Hard reset

-Software Restore

-Reseat ribbon cable

Any advice?

I wouldnt have thought that replacing the entire cable would be a fix because currently 2/3 components on the cable work, and the camera worked fine before replacement, and wasnt exposed to any damaging actions.
