When I turn the TV off, it will go off and after a few seconds pop back on. If I turn cable box off or disconnect cable box, still turns back on with logo and verbage saying it is searching for an input. It simply will not turn off. Any suggestions would greatly be appreciated. Thanks.

problem seems to be fixed. I guess we will call it user error. after playing around with it for days, finally found last night if I go to the home screen and turn off from there, it stays off. this is the smarttv home screen. if i turn off from anywhere else, blu ray, or any of the 4 hdmi or pc imput screen, it will not turn off, but if from the smarttv home screen, all good. thanks to all for your help.

this could be an issue with the remote (remove the batteries) as well as the IR board or the power board inside your TV. also make sure that there is nothing in your settings that would cause this. After that you will have to remove teh back of your TV and take a look at teh boards. Post some pictures of those with your question so that we can see what you see. Nope. It is free and clear. Whether I use remote or on button on TV, same thing. Off and then back on within 5 seconds. Thanks.
