My volume is low on my earpiece receiver no matter how high I set the volume. I replaced the earpiece receiver and it still does exactly the same thing! Any ideas on what to check next?

Check the black filter that is at the earpiece speaker usually this gets clogged up with either dust or metal debris as the earpiece speaker is magnetised.
When it is quiet it almost is always that.
You will need to open up the phone and remove the earpiece to clean it properly.
