Issue with display or GPU?

I’m thinking its more likely an internal display issue. To prove it you’ll need to connect to an external monitor to see if the problem shows up there if it doesn’t then the either the display cable or display assembly will need to be replaced.

I have connected external display and it works perfectly, hence I have ordered a new display cable. I have also noticed that the screen gets worse after opening/closing display lid, so I hope that changing display cable would address this. Thanks.
