Picture suddenly distorted white hue and lines (depending on picture)

Hi my SONY Bravia KDL-32EX720 suddenly went white hue(ish) and bars which are dependent on what is beeing shown.

All menus are working, contrast, brghtnes backlight levels everything works except there is distorsion over the picture.

I went to SONY service and was told that its faulty LCD panel.

At home I opened it up

1. Checked and cleaned LVDS cables from TCON. (looked good)

2. Check capacitors on powerboard (nothing unusual)

3. Applied some pressure on corners of screen to see whether the error would change. (Did not change)

Any idea, what it could be.

I think its still decent TV set and would rather fix it then buying new for 500$
