Hey there,
A couple of months ago the trackpad and keyboard of my 3 year old MacBook Pro stopped working periodically. Is there anyone who can tell me what might be wrong and how I can fix it?

There may be a connection loose, follow this guide and make sure that the connector in Step 10 isn't loose at all.

Nope never. I am very careful with it..
