Hello. I recently replaced a screen assembly on IPhone 6 and now the Touch ID doesn't work.
I moved the original home button onto the new screen and even bought a new flex cable . The home button is working fine but there's a message which says that the iphone is unable to active touch ID?

Take a close look at the Home Button flex (the short one from the button to the connector) as well as the Link flex that goes beneath the LCD shield. It is possible that either the flex or one of the connectors was damaged or torn during the repair. If the link flex is torn or its connectors damaged, you can replace it again. If the Home Button flex or connector is damaged, it may be repairable but if the damage is too severe, you will have lost TouchID forever...or until you have Apple replace the screen and HB :>).

Highly unlikely that it is the link flex.
We can only offer ideas and suggestions seeing as how we don't have access to the device itself to properly diagnose the issue. I have seen lot's of damaged link flexes following failed DIY repairs. It could be the connector or the link flex itself that gets torn. Either way, it doesn't hurt to look. Don't forget that the mission on this forum is to help fixers. Even if this doesn't perfectly answer the OP's question (and we rarely know because few people ever come back to say what helped or solved their problem), others will search for and find this answer and it may give them a good lead towards finding a solution.
As for your own answer, don't forget that the vast majority of replacement screens do not come with the link flex installed, it has to be transferred from the original screen to the replacement, hence why they tend to get damaged by fixers. On the iPhone 6S series, the link flex is embedded in the screen assembly.

uh oh! problem is, that apple has the touchid paired to the logic board, so unless you use the original touch id, its dead.

Try on the old screen, see if it works, before buying a link flex cable.

Try cleaning all associated connectors and the home button with isopropyl.
