No power after screen replacement

I've replaced the screen on my iPad Pro 12.9 (1st gen) but it doesn't appear to be charging at all. Also, I had to replace the home button because I broke it while taking the screen off. I've checked to see if I unplugged something but I can't see anything.. I've attached pictures. Please help!

Just for better insight, what tools did you use to pry the old screen off? Also where was the screen purchased from?

I used the tools from iFixit. I used a heat gun instead of iOpener because I found iOpener didn't help at all. Even the heat gun had issues getting it loosened. And, I used this screen here: https://www.unionrepair.com/replacement-...

Cool. Are you able to get me a close up picture of what the 2 little iPad LCD/digitizer connectors look like on the motherboard? Would also like to know if you used any metal tools inside the iPad while the battery was connected (anything other than a screwdriver). Also check to make sure that you put the screw that holds the connection between the motherboard and the battery back on if you took it out.

I'll add a close up, let me know if this is not what you were asking for. I may have, probably did at some point. Are you worried about a short with that? Yes, I remembered this after I had tried to put the display on so I had to take off and put the screw in and then try to plug in display. But, I've had an issue with the display though because the ribbon cables were kind of loose and then the connector for the ribbon cable to motherboard broke. They were very difficult to get in and bent and then broke :( I'm emailing the manufacturer to get a replacement.

Ok for sure. I would try to see what the manufacturer says, otherwise, your iPad looks clean and if there is a short, which I wouldn't believe would have happened if you're using static band, plastic tools, etc. See if you can get another screen which is most likely your issue here.

Did you disconnect your battery?

If no please do so you can get there on top and place a pick under te connector. Let me know if that works.
