Computer freezes and ruins my student life. Please help.

Hi guys,

I tried literally everything what I found on the internet but nothing is working for me... I updated the computer few days ago and from that point I have an issue. The computer is working but sometimes after 30 minutes, sometimes after four hours it just freezes, then there is black screen, then I have to restart it and then everything is normal until the same thing happens again. Any ideas please?

I already tried to turn on the computer in safe mode, hold D while restarting it (no issues were found), click on first aid in disk utility, update it again and I cleaned old caches as well. Please help me.

if you start it in safe mode does it still restart?

when was the last time you had it cleaned it could be overheating. on that note make sure its getting proper ventilation.

I wasn't in the safe mode for more than 5 minutes because everything was glitching in there so much and I rather restarted it right away. I never cleaned it before because I bought the computer completely new in December 2015 and started to use it in May 2016 so it's still basically like new.

Someone told me that I should try to create a new user account and see if it will be freezing because maybe there is problem with my old user account and if it will be freezing then I should try to reinstall High Sierra.

in safe mode that is normal. what happens, is non critical features like smooth graphics are dropped. it is normal for the screen to flash in safe mode. yo may also notice bad performance in safe mode as again, anything that is not needed for the PC to run will be dropped. is not built to look nice in safe mode. its built to be usable and stop anything that might be the problem from starting up. apple says this is normal. https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201262 (scroll down to "some features arn't available in safe mode")

Hey! It's so late to reply, but how did you fix it? I have the same problem, my laptop makes me crazy after his updating. I'm a student too, and I have a lot of tasks to do.
