iPhone 6 won’t swipe up after screen repair

After a screen repair, I can’t swipe up on the phone (flash light, camera, etc) I have full touch response on the entire screen. I can even swipe down. Any idea what may be causing this?

It's most likely a defective replacement screen. To be certain, re-install your original screen if it isn't to damaged to see if the swipe up function works. If it does, then you have a bad screen.
