Screen not cracked or broken after being dropped. No purple blotches..

Dropped my S7. No cracks, not broken. No purple blotches, ink spots or linear patterns visible. Screen is completely dark. Phone makes all sounds such as powering on and off, notifications, system sounds, app and key strokes too. But screen shows no signs not even the slightest flicker. Is this expensive and worth it to repair or just get a new phone?? First phone I've ever broken, first bought from outside my carrier and first to not carry insurance on!! Never again! What a big loss, a big mistake!!
