trying to find vcc main short with the dc power supply. When I connected the wires to the vcc main line and turn on the dc power supply I cannot go beyond 0.5v with 1.5 current. If anything more it causes shorts with annoying beeping sound. What can be wrong with it?

ehh, the current doesn't go up beyond that point
have you soldered wires or are you using a battery connector cable from dc power
