How to remove condensation from under the touch panel on my Galaxy S7?

Hello. I have a black Samsung Galaxy S7 that I had a glass protector on. Before I put the glass protector on I dropped my phone and it cracked a little bit in the top right corner. I usually take my phone with me when I take baths to listen to music and it gets really steamy in the bathroom. Recently I broke the screen protector and I decided to take it off the phone (note that the screen protector was black on the margins so I didn't know what was going on under it) so when I took the protector off, I seen that the glass is whiter in the top right corner (where I cracked the screen) and it goes down to the half on the screen, but it is stuck on the margins of the screen, it didn't spread to the area where the display is, so it doesn't alter the image. It bothers me a bit to see that. Can I fix this without tearing apart the phone?

Thank you very much for your help!

You will need to tear down the phone in order to disconnect the cable from the board.

It is recommended to remove the mother board from the unit before replacing the LCD, just to prevent it from damaging.

On most videos you will see them take out a lot more parts after the motherboard, however I skip that part. When you start removing the LCD you will need heat. When I apply heat I do not make it insanely hot since the battery is exposed in that area along with the chance of damaging those smaller components. I just do enough heat to slice my way through the adhesive. Since your LCD is already cracked, you will have it shatter through this process, and you may want to tape over the lcd or wear gloves to protect your hands.

You will need the proper tools for this project, LCD/Digitizer Assembly, and Adhesive strips/ adhering glue to try to maintain the water resistance.

good luck

It's not the display that is cracked, the display is perfectly fine. The front glass is just cracked. Just the glass it doesn't interfere with the display. The thing that I want to do is to get the steam thats int the corner of the glass, under the glass. I want to take that steam out, without disassembling the phone, because I don't know how to do that and I don't want to destroy the phone, because it's an amazing phone, and I want a service center to be the last solution as they take an awful amount of money just to check what's wrong. Are there any solutions that I can do at home without tearing apart the phone or I should just let it go and get it to a service center and never take baths with it ever again?

Let me just make sure I got this right.

The Glass layer that protects the LCD/Digitizer is damaged.. The damaged area is in the corner. That hole is creating condensation/steam when you shower, and is entering your phone.

1) Is there a fix for it. The best option is to replace the LCD Assembly.

The reason for this is because trying to split the pieces of the display is technical and requires some tools (at least from what I've seen).

2) If you do not want to make an attempt to repair it, do not bring it into any dramatic temperature change. This may cause condensation which may develop underneath the glass.

3) If there is still steam/condensation under the screen, you're best off using something to absorb the moisture out. Rice, Bread, or those tiny packets that come in most sealed products.

I would probably recommend a tempered glass just to try and cover up the area just to prevent further damage.

hope this helps .
