Hello guys, happy holidays!
My MacBook Air A1369 Mid-2011's battery has finally died. I have managed to find a replacement battery A1405, but on the website it says it's good for the A1369 Late 2011 model, but says nothing for mine. Any ideas whether it will work on my model as well?

Here's the IFIXIT battery: MacBook Air 13" (Late 2010-2017) Battery You'll see it's compatible with these systems:
So in your case battery in question a 'MacBook Air A1369 late-2011' is the same battery.

Unfortunately I cannot order this battery as they do not ship out of the US. This battery is not good for a late 2011 model, so I may conclude that replacement batteries for mid-2011 models are not compatible with late-2011 models and vice versa? So I cannot really use the replacement battery I found in stock in a local store :/
You missed the point! If IFIXIT's battery works in both systems then why wouldn't yours?

I thought IFIXIT's battery does not work in both systems. Here is its compatibility:
- MacBook Air 13" A1369 Late 2010 to Mid 2011
- MacBook Air 13" A1466 Mid 2012 to Early 2015
A1369 LATE 2010 to MID 2011 - no LATE 2011 model included here. It still looks to me like MID 2011 and LATE 2011 are different batteries. IFIXIT's battery does not work with both models.
