App updates available but won't download or install; circling status

My 128GB Apple iPhone 6s, now running iOS v. 11.2.1, has FOR YEARS been my handheld PC & eliminated my need for either a desktop or laptop PC.

I backup my iPhone online, using the iCloud backup utility native to the latest version of iOS.

For a week now, available app updates seem unable to download or install.

My home Wi-Fi operates perfectly, allowing access to my podcast subscriptions & email.

Is this an implicit UPGRADE HARDWARE design feature?

I'll have the money to begin my annual upgrade subscription next March.

How may I continue to upgrade my apps from now until I upgrade to a 256GB Apple iPhone X, next March?

Hello Rodney, have you tried resetting your settings? You can reset all settings, or just reset your network settings. This will erase any saved wifi or hot spot connections but might fix your problem.

I would also try uninstalling and reinstalling the apps. I have had several apps do this to me in the past and that always seems to help. You could also try signing out of the itunes store, then deleting the apps, and then re-sign in and re-download the apps. Some data might be lost, but most apps have an account linked to them to save your data remotely.

Let me know if that helps.

"Resett my settings"....

What?

I've bounced my Wi-Fi. But I have good Internet access - hence my comment about podcast & email reliability.

I've tried deleting & then reinstalling an app, but the related app goes into an unending LOADING status & is simply STUCK like all 111 of my other apps with currently available updates.

Typically, rhe apps in question are either in a LOADING or WAITING status.

Either escessentially LIMBO for my apps, rendering them inoperable. So, I currently have 112 apps in LIMBO: 111 that can't receive their updated code, plus the 1 that I deleted & tried to reinstall. It cannot download & install itself either.

I've hoped that this was a bug related to iOS v. 11.2.1, and that the next version of iOS will simply FIX this dilemma.

If not, perhaps I can continue to LIMP ALONG until I purchase a 256GB iPhone X next March & join the annual hardware updates subscription team.

"Resett my settings"...

What?

I have bounced my router & also deactivated & subsequently reactivated my Wi-Fi, with no edfect.

Uninstalling an app is easy, but it can't then be reinstalled.

There seems to be a problem between the App Store & my 128GB Apple iPhone 6s.
