Chime Loop Logic Board Problem

Hi all.

Recently a MacbookPro a1502 came to my hands with signs of liquid damage.

The problem is, on boot I can hear the chime but it´s like the sound won´t go till the end and the chime sound starts all over again. And stays like this for ever. On loop.

The backlight from the screen lights up but I get only gray image. And continuous, even when chime is looping, on all time.

If I unplug the screen the sound of the chime plays till the end without looping, but nothing happens after. CapsLock key won´t light up or off when pressed, and connecting to external monitor won´t show anything either. Not trough hdmi or thunderbolt.

Also tried with ssd connected and disconnected, no diference there (although before opening the cover, it was starting normal but with image of missing ssd, it started doing this when i tried to replace with a new ssd, and now won´t start)

Already tried reseting PRam.

With and without battery, and with or without charger. Chime looping.

Seems like something is short circuiting but really can´t see anything wrong.

Anyone has any clues of what can be the problem?

Whenever you're dealing with liquid damage, disassembly and logic board cleaning is virtually mandatory to begin troubleshooting.

Well, I think that it got like that after I took the old SSD, cleaned the mboard (with a dry cotton cleaning cloth, although it didn't had any marks of liquid in it, and was complitly dry), and assembled the new SSD. :/

Bios EFI chip broken...

Replaced with a new one and it started normal! Working all ok! Even has a serial number.

Great!
