Nikon Coolpix P900 lens gear repair
I recently dropped my Nikon P900 and broke a couple of teeth from one of the lens zoom gears. I found a replacement gearset and have installed it but now when I turn on the camera the lens goes out to maximum zoom, appears to be wanting to go further and then stops with a ‘lens error’ message. Is there a way to reset the position of the zoom to overcome this?

Not a word. Dead silence. I suspect that it may require specialised gesr.

Watch YouTube, I cracked my lens by dropping it, took about 15 mins to fix

Any links to specific You tube videos, or details on how you damaged and fix yours would be of help to others I'm sure. I ended up get the lens replaced as I couldn't fix it myself. Cheers
