I am not sure what you are driving at, but I do know that the iPad battery integrates two separate 3.75V lithium polymer cells wired in parallel. I do not think that you could even purchase just a single cell and how would you know which one to change? I suppose anything is possible, even you can find the cell. But now you are stuck with having to mate the cells and to have a battery that is Frankensteined (or is it frankensteinerd :-). Why not just get a battery that is made for the iPad? Good luck and let us know what you have in mind...;-)

Thank you, I get two original ipad battery cells from China. Each battery cell is $ 5.00. It cost me $ 33.00 including the shipping. I don't knw how to change them. I'm afraid of breaking the new battery cells.

Thanks a lot. I think I'd better get the battery not the cell. Do you know how much is the battery?
