Why won't my Dualshock 4 controller make any noise?

Every time I play a game, my controller won't make any noise. I've tried turning the volume up on it, but it still won't work. How can I fix this? Thanks.

If you've already tried turning the volume up on your controller, and it still isn't making any sound, then you may need to reset your controller. iFixit has a troubleshooting page for the Dualshock 4 controller that will explain how to do this.PlayStation 4 Controller Troubleshooting
