my samsung tab A6 is only charging when it is on,but when switched off it is not charging or even showing any syginal of charging,what can be the ploblem and the solution?

Is it dead when you're charging it? and how long have you had it on the charger?

yes when i put on a charger when it is off,it is supposed to show that it is charging by showing a battery running up with green bars,but though it is not displaying the battery charging signal,it charges but not not showing anything to notify that,now its 3 days now i hav seen that it is doing that
I'm trying to think of another reason it would do that, but most of the time that means an IC chip usually one that helps with power management on your motherboard may be fizzling out.
