SATA cable replacement now a blank screen
Last year I replaced my hard drive and RAM and it had been running hot with fans on high whenever I opened photos. I asked on the forum and got the response to replace the SATA cable Why is my MacBook heating up when photos open?
I was finally able to do that last night. I also replaced my battery as I have been needing a new battery. I turned it on after the replacement last night and everything seemed to work like normal. When I woke up this morning I went to check my laptop as I had left it on but closed. I opened it and the sound of the hard drive running started but the screen didn't turn on. So I held the power button to turn it off. When I turned it back on it gave me my log in for the password and after I typed that and entered then it went to just a white screen with bars at the center bottom. What did I do?
