2DS crashes when I move it suddenly. Something inside shifts when I do

So, like I said above my 2DS crashes whenever I move it too suddenly. I can hear something shifting inside, and it is definitely not because of the buttons. I haven't had a problem turning it on, but if I move the 2DS when playing a game, the system crashes and often shuts itself off. On another website I read that it is possibly caused because a cover to something came off. I was hoping to fix the problem myself if it is at all possible for someone to guide my through it.
