My screen won't turn on after replacing the battery

Hi people of iFixIt

I searched the other forums with similar questions, but I didn't find an answer.

My device was working fine, but then one day the iPhone would not get pass the low battery bar. If I plug it in, it just tells me its charging. Unplugged, it tells me to charge it. Yes I have tried it for 24 hours already, and this phone has been like this for the past.. 5 months?

So I have decided to buy a replacement iPhone 5g battery (they told me 5 and 5g is the same).

I put in the battery, and now the iPhone can be seen on iTunes, unlike my old battery.

However, there is no backlight behind the screen. I Yes I made sure the display connectors (not sure what you call it, but i'm talking about the one with the three connectors) were fully in.

No, I do not see any faint apple logo. There is absolutely nothing but a black screen. It doesn't even vibrate when I switch the vibrate button on ( or off, what was it..)

Try the old battery if that does not work take it to a repair shop for an second opinion don't have them fix it but get the parts and fix it.

NOTE

BATERY VOLTAGE IDEL IS 3.7 TO 3.8 VOLT AND AFTER 100 CHARG ITS SHOW YOU 4.2 VOLT SO CANNOT CHARGE OVER 4.3 ITS MAY BE FIRE AFTER FEW MINUTS

IF YOU HAVE DC REGULATED POWER SUPLY YOU ALSO KNOW BATERY CHARGE STATUS ON CURRENT METER

YOU CAN TEST YOUR BATERY WITH DIGITAL MULTI METER

AND SEEN YOUR BETRY VOLTAGE LEVEL IS DOWN FROM IDEAL VOLTAGE LIKE 3 OR 3.2

SO IPHONE CHARGE CIRCUIT CAN NOT START SO YOU CAN CHARGE IT UP TO IDEAL VOLTAGE OR BEST IT 3.9 TO 4 VOLT IF GET FULLY CHARGE YOU CHARGE UP TO 4.2 VOLT

AND PUT IT BACK

WHEN THE BETRY VOLT DOWN FROM IDEAL VOLT YOU SEEN ON CURRENT METER ITALS GATING 1400m amps to 2800 m amps

in the dc REGULATOR POWER SUPLY CURENT METER(AMPS) 00 IF 4.2 VOLT CHARGE COMPLATLY

PUT THE BATERY AND START IPHONE

this method work on all iphone and other problems like

1.. after replace batery

2.. my iphone work properly but after fully drain its not charge or no display and it display some time low batry symbole if you charge over night but same problem work with this mathod

3.. if iphone batery are dead you can showk with 6 voltage 1 to 2 seconds max in 10 seconds repet this show max then 20 to 30 times

after 30 time showk with 7 volt 5 time 1 sec

and complet showk charge it with 4.5 volt for just 10 seconds and rest 5 sec. and try for 4.5 volt 10 showk

after all showk complet charge it to 4.3 volt contineusly with external charger or dc regulator power suplly

no need any dc regulator power suply for charge batery

today me sharing you a magic tricks its a sort time to solve any of the iphone boot up proble

like

after replace batry no movment and no charge display.

after fully drain not charge only show you low batery

and fully drain batery not on the power when charger is pluged

just follow this magic tricks

1. open iphone and remove batery conector from pcb

2. dont remove lcd belt or any just catch it on your hand

3. after remove conector plug the charger you see apple logo without batery it may be dislay minore flickring some time becaus low charge power

its looping boot logo becuse current limitation by charger

4. when plug charger see apple logo push the batery connector to pcb its connected stop the boot loop

its take some time and phone started and charging working

note please be leave your phone for 30 minuts to charge some persanteg everythings ok

fit the iphone and enjoy
