Superdrive dead. I have a CD stuck inside and would like to remove it.
External superdrive is dead for some reason. I have a CD stuck inside and can't figure out how to remove it.

Follow this guide to get to the drive itself, after you remove it, continue disassembling the drive until you get to the CD.

I think his problem is with ejecting the disk.
Wow! That unpleasant. I had to preform an autopsy on the Superdrive to get the CD out. The Superdrive is no longer living. Thank you for your help.

Boot up holding down the track pad or holding down the mouse button. If that fails, we'll go into other means using the console and finally a teardown of the drive. Is there anything unusual about the disk?

I recommend taking off the disk drive and after that try to disassemble it, if you couldn't figure out how, like when I tried, just take a chainsaw and break off the side, then use a hammers sharp bit to peel it off, don't go too deep, or you will damage the CD, this isn't safe, but it only takes 30 seconds, also, you probably won't need the disk drive ever again
this shouldn't be your first go to method!
