I got the white screen of dead, Touch is working

Hello,

i've got an iPhone 3GS and replaced the display, because it was broken. Because i didn't use the iPhone for a while i updated the Software to the current iOs-Version. The problem i've got now, is that when i click the Home Button or the PowerButton to switch on the Display i just get a white screen. If i restart/reset the iPhone the screen is working fine. When i have the white screen i "can use the screen blind" if you understand. For example, i'll can switch on the iPod, i can unlock my phone and i can switch it off. Everything with the white screen.

What do you think? Is this an Software error or an hardware error? Any solutions for this? What could be the next steps to fix it?

Turn phone off and recheck all your connectors 1-3. More than likely is no. 1! Then close it up and make sure no 1 is staying on.... It's a tricky little connector and pops off as you close. Then I'd do a reset- press and hold power and home until apple appears- let it reboot.( While you have it open give connectors a quick clean)

Well i tried this more than one time and it doesn't change anything. If i restart or reset my iphone i get the normal screen e v e r y t i m e. I just get this white screen wenn my iphone is switched on and i click the home or power putton to "light up" my display.

Upload all of your info onto iTunes. Then get all of the latest updates for the iPhones downloaded onto your phone. Then reload all of your info. It worked for me yesterday! BTW, I did this with the help of Apple iPhone Repair - over the telephone - 1-800-694-7466
