No sound from internal speakers

Hello, I have an apple iMac A1312 (27-inch, Late 2009) and I am having problems with sound. I have no sound through internal speakers, or plugging into the 3.5mm jack. I have tried messing with the output settings and reinstalling OSX. If anyone has any idea what I could try that would be great.

PS: Sound does work via USB speakers.
