Why is my iPhone 6 display dim after logic board cleaning?

So, I dropped my phone in water and I took the logic board out to clean off the corrosion.

Before cleaning - The phone is in infinite reboot, it gets to the white Apple Logo for about 10 seconds or so and then turns off and repeat.

After cleaning logic board - the phone does the same thing but now the screen is super dim. Like so dim that at first I thought I completely fried the phone. Basically I think the blacklight broke.

What should I do? I am planning to get a new battery for this phone and a new screen.

Is there any suggestions on what happened or what I should do?

Note: I am not trying to repair this phone for extended use. I might use the phone for two more months until the new iPhone comes out. I want the phone to turn on so I can back it up and get my data off of it mainly...

Water damage repair is a hard fix, most techs will only repair phone and hope it stays on long enough to get data off. If phone happens to continue working after if has been ultrasonic cleaned and components replaced that were damaged then the device is good to go. If the contaminants in the water are not addressed properly they will creep up and damage other components, constant heat from the phone being turned on and whatever was left behind will continue to grow and damage phone. make sure to remove shield to clean all components on motherboard. look for smoked or charred components to give you clues as to where the damage area might be.

I did remove the shields and clean the entire logic board. I did notice that the back of the top right where most of the display cables were was smoked/charred. On the back side of the logic board in that area. I put it in 91% alcohol and cleaned it off.

I have a battery and new LCD screen coming in the mail...

can you see a faint apple logo if you shine a light on the screen? clean the fpc connectors on the display itself just to make sure they are clean. anytime there are charred or smoked connectors the components need to be replaced, can get lucky by cleaning. if the phone has a short somewhere try not to put too much power or current on the phone the more times you keep or put in the battery or charging the phone will have a less chance of data recovery if there are issues on the motherboard. not discouraging you just throwing out caution since you stated you want data off the phone.
