Only my power led will turn on. Everything else seems to not work.

So my router worked for about 5 minutes and everything was fine and showing solid green on all LED lights. I even connected to the internet and changed my device name and password. Then it all went out and now only the power will turn on and the rest stays dead with no signs of functioning properly. I contacted the manufacture and they said my device has a firmware issue and needs upgrade. The problem is I can only connect to the internet by my modem and I could not download the firmware drivers from the manufacture website( WAVLINK). The IT reps doesn't seem to understand this and keeps saying plug my computer into the router and go to the internet homepage for the router settings. I think my router has either fried or has a malware virus that will not let me reset it. I even tried to factory reset it after holding the reset button for about 30 seconds then turning it back on and holding it for another 30 seconds. Running out of options so im about to just RMA the thing and start over with a new one.
