My tablet won't charge

My Galaxy Tab 4 8.0" T-Mobile stopped charging yesterday. But if I hold the charge plug with it push hard it charged some then it stop charging at all could the be repaired?

What is the exact model number? You can find it under "About tablet" in settings.

if you look at the back cover towards the center at the bottom you will see a model number that starts with SM-
