MacBook no longer starting or showing signs of life.

Hey guys,

A few days ago I replaced my Macbook with a SSD and everything was going well. I also ordered a caddy to replace the optical drive for extra storage on my Mac. I followed the guide for this exactly on this very site and after putting it all back together, I'm left with these problems.

• MacBook will not power on at all.
• MagSafe charger doesn't show any light or forms of charging.
• Battery indicator light not working.

I initially thought it could have be something to do with the part I ordered, so I put in the old optical drive I removed, again following the guide exactly, but was left with the same result. Prior to this, the laptop was working and would restart perfectly fine.

If any other information is needed feel free to ask and I'm happy to try and provide it. :)
