My camera keeps showing power off and try again.

My camera will not focus and keeps showing a message" power off and try again" the lens also wont come out either. I'm not sure what happened but ive only had it for a year. how do I get the lens to pop out?

I don't necessarily want to take the camera apart if its not needed. please help me.
