Black screen but fully responsive

I have a Samsung Galaxy A5 2017 (SM-A520F). I dropped it the other day and now the screen is black, but it is fully responsive. At first it was really glichty, now its just black. I can hear it when I am typing and I can change the volume of my ringtone on the screen. The bottom buttons also light up as well. Do I need a new display? Any help will much appreciated. Thanks

There are three likely possibilities

a) your cable that connects to the logic board came loose

b) your LCD is damaged

c) your logic board is damaged

without opening the phone up, its not possible to tell which.

I have the same problem but my phone is still under warranty i will go tomorrow to samsung and try to get it fixed for free
