Earpiece speaker missing mesh

I converted my iPhone 4 to white using parts from Amazon.com. I later noticed 2 things that I was wondering if anyone has had experience with.

1. The mesh behind the speaker slit is missing.

2. Photos taken with the flash are overexposed, bleached blue and hazy.

Any shared knowledge around these issues?

Has anyone here purchased the white parts from ifixit and been successful? As in, not experienced these issues?

It did have the flash diffuser, I just failed to remove the plastic. Dee dee dee.

I have found a parts supplier that includes the mesh piece so I don't need to remove it from the old one. www.applepartsstore.com. They are located in Utah. I placed my first order with them yesterday. Will post back when my order arrives in case anyone else is looking for good parts.

you could have removed the old mesh from the original display or bought a new one for the repair.

for the photo problem, make sure there isnt any protective plastic covering the lens area. if there is you were suppose to peal it off before installation.

you need to remove the mesh from the old lcd and put onto your new lcd. you may also need some adhesive to stick it on there.

also the back plate, you are probably missing the flash diffuser.
