black screen. HELP! please

My Nintendo 3ds felt 1 time on the ground and i loved that thing. So in panic i was looking for scraches. but i saw nothing so i taught there were no mor problems but when I tried to start up a program (no mather with wan ) it froze and the only thing i could do was turn it off by hold the buttn for 10 seconds. and a day later I tried to turn it on again but this ime my screen was black. it gave light. The only thing that was on where my wifi light the blue light and the 3D light at the top screen i olny could turn it of. I can also charge the system. I don't know whats wrong. I hope somebody reads it and can help me. :)

ohh and sorry for my bad Englisch.:D

It sounds like a problem with the screen (obviously).

Most likely the screen is

A.) broken internally

B.) Connectors are loose.

I'd say try opening the device and examine the cables for the screen and make sure they're intact. If you don't have the tools try seeing if a shop has the ability to do it.

It depends on what is broken inside, it could be a connector, the wire, or the screen died. Most likely the screen is dead and you'll need a replacement, but have a look inside and see.

no the screen isnt dead cause it gave light. i can't see anyting strange about the conectors of the screen. I removed everything and replaced it but it doesnt work :/

The same thing happened to me but I took out the battery for 5 minutes and it work but both screen colors were the wrong color and kept changing every time I move to a different icon the color changes​

I had the same problem. What I did is sent it to Nintendo repair services, and as long as there no big physical damage they'll will fix it for free because it's a system malfunction

Two possible causes for a black screen:

- Wifi card is loose and needs to be put back in place.

- LCD screen flex is detached or broken. If detached you will need to reattach it. If having a broken flex you will need a new replacement screen.
