@tlsjr41383 no way is this a shade tree mechanic job. You'll need a lift for that one.

Disconnect the negative battery cable.

Remove the positive battery post from the underhood junction block (2).

Disconnect the positive cables from the underhood junction block (1).

Disconnect the surge tank inlet hose from the surge tank.

Remove the underhood junction block bracket nuts (1, 2).

Loosen the underhood junction block bracket bolt (3).

Disconnect the front wiring harness from the underhood junction block bracket.

Reposition the underhood junction block bracket aside.

Disconnect the hydraulic clutch hose from the clutch actuator cylinder.

Install the engine support fixture.

Secure the cooling module to the upper body structure.

Remove the upper transmission to mount bolts.

Remove the upper transmission to engine bolt.

Remove the frame.

Drain the transaxle. Refer to Transmission Fluid Replacement.

Disconnect the drive axles from the transmission and secure out of the way. Refer to Wheel Drive Shaft Replacement.

Remove the starter.

Disconnect the shift cables from the transmission.

Disconnect the backup lamp switch harness connector (1).

Disconnect the vehicle speed sensor (2).

Lower the vehicle.

Use the engine support fixture rear hook to lower the powertrain enough to allow clearance between the side rail and powertrain.

Raise the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle.

Use a transmission jack to secure the transmission, and remove the transmission to engine bolts.

Remove the transmission from the vehicle.

Remove the front transmission mount from the transmission.

Remove the rear transmission mount and bracket from the transmission.

Installation Procedure

Install the rear transmission mount to the transmission.

Install the front transmission mount to the transmission.

Use a transmission jack to position the transmission to the vehicle.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

Important: The number 3 position does not require a bolt.

Secure the transmission to the engine.

Tighten the bolts to 75 Nm (55 ft. Lbs.).

Connect the vehicle speed sensor (2).

Connect the backup lamp switch harness connector (1).

Connect the shift cable to the transmission.

Install the starter.

Connect the drive axles to the transmission. Refer to Wheel Drive Shaft Replacement.

Lower the vehicle.

Use the engine support fixture in order to raise the powertrain assembly.

Install the transmission side mount.

Position the underhood junction block to the original position.

Install the surge tank inlet hose to the surge tank.

Install the front wiring harness to the junction block bracket.

Connect the positive battery cables to the junction block bracket (1).

Install the positive battery post to the junction block bracket (2).

Install the junction block bracket, bolt (3) and nuts (1, 2).

Tighten the nuts to 10 Nm (89 inch lbs.).

Tighten the bolt to 25 Nm (18 ft. Lbs.).

Install the frame.

Remove the engine support fixture.

Install the top engine to transmission bolt.

Tighten the bolt to 75 Nm (55 ft. Lbs.).

Connect the hydraulic clutch hose to the clutch actuator cylinder.

Bleed the clutch hydraulic system.

Release the cooling module from the upper body structure.

Connect the negative battery cable.

Fill the transmission to the proper level. © 2013 ALLDATA LLC

On these sub frame mount cars I tend to drop the entire unit as one then you have easy access to the trans and engine but you do need a hoist and overhead gantry winch

@jimfixer I agree. It's a lot heavier but way easier. PITA to remove the tranny...
