Dropped my Samsung J3 in water and keeps booting into Safe mode?

So basically... I dropped my Samsung J3 in the bath. I immediately fished it out, took the battery out, and carefullly dried the phone and battery with a towel. I left them for 30 minutes wrapped up in a dry towel.

About an hour later, I put the battery back in and turned it on. Everything seemed fine, besides the power button not working and the theme I was using being suddenly gone, before the phone turned itself off. Scared, I removed the battery and noticed water droplets that weren't there before. Now impatient, I put the battery back and plugged it in. When the phone turned on, my lock screen picture was gone, the touch screen wasn't working, and the battery was 0%.

I took the battery back out and returned to my tasks. About one more hour later, I turned the phone on again (It started itself on Safe mode, strangely enough) and the touch screen worked again- although it didn't recognize 1 out of 5 touches. When I plugged the charger in because it was at 5%, the touch screen wasn't working anymore. I left it to charge. What should I do?

@ineedhelppls "and carefullly dried the phone and battery with a towel." not going to be sufficient. The importance right now is to not turn it on, or trying to sync/charge it. Please remember that any dessicant is only a first aid. It will not prevent corrosion nor fix shorted SMD components. Remove the battery, and disassemble is right down to the logic board. Clean everything with isopropyl alcohol (90%+) and a soft brush, including all connectors and cable ends. Check for any burned or missing components. You may have to repeat this step a couple of times. Use this guide for the cleaning. Even so it was written for a Apple iPhone, all the points made are still pertinent to your phone as well. Once it is cleaned, reassemble it and replace the battery, then reevaluate for any real damage. Right now, everything will only be a guess, and the longer you wait the more corroded it will get. Hope this helps, good luck."
