How do I repurpose my LG TracFone?
Me and my friend are planning on repurposing an old LG TracFone into a homemade movie storer and player. We are adding some SD inputs, new motherboard, etc. but the question I had is how do I reprogram my TracFone? We are adding a seperate mini computer to it for the movies, we want the phone to still work but be compatable with the mini computer at the same time. If you could answer my question I will appreciate it so much.

You want to use it for a storage device that connects to a PC? Have you tried a SD card reader? Whatever your purpose, a raspberry pi 3 would likely be better for only $35. Or a pi zero for only $5.

Yes that is what I was thinking and just adding a small screen on the zero but he has the phone and wants to do it.

Using the phone will be really hard if you want to use it as a screen as i dont thing anyone really is going to do this. And if its a Tracfone is really cheap. Just have some fun and smash it or something and get a small compatible screen for a pi
