I know there was talk of a limit of 50,000 songs. Has this been surpassed yet?

With modern technology, what you can do is buy an mSata hard drive

And use this adapter.

There are limits, i.e. the 50,000 song limit is an Apple iTunes limit. I don't have enough songs to disprove or even approach 50k songs :-(
