Modello A1419 / EMC 2806 / Fine 2014 o metà 2015. Core i5 da 3,3 o 3,5 GHz o Core i7 da 4,0 GHz (ID iMac15,1); EMC 2834 fine 2015 / Core i5 da 3,3 o 3,5 GHz o Core i7 da 4,0 GHz (iMac17,1) Tutti con display Retina 5K.

Screen won't turn on after cpu upgrade

I just upgraded my late 2015 imac's cpu to an intel core i7 6700k skylake unlocked 4.0Ghz processor and when i tried to turn it on after, i got the chime that it turned on, but the screen will not turn on . I checked the connections and they're all good, so i have no idea what it could be . Anyone have an idea? Thanks

I followed ifixits procedure step by step. And the fan works as well as key noises but the screen wont turn on...

Also tried resetting pram and smc..no luck

Switched back to my old cpu....no luck wtf

Sooo i just found out that its all working good...except the screens light is dead. If i shine a flashlight on it i can see everything...wtf how can i fix that? Replacing a 5k screen is probably $$$$$
