Swap out logicboard with Mid 2014 2.5 i7

I want to know if the Late 2013 Macbook Pro Retina 15" 2.0 i7 can be swapped out for a Mid 2014 2.5 i7 15" Macbook Pro.

Most of the parts I see listed on here and other sites put them together when talking compatibility.

The reason is that I have 2 working, yes working MBP's but the case on the 2014 is banged up and cracked but the 2013 has little use and looks new. I just want to swap the boards so I can have a nice looking 2.5 speed demon.

Any help would be appreciated. Please....dont put any comments telling me im crazy or other negative comments.

If you cant answer the question please move on.

Thank you in advance

The 2013 is the one you stated above and the 2014 is the DG model

Sorry I'm going to give you some negative waves here ;-{

If you had the IG model it would have been a slam dunk MacBookPro11,2 - Yes!

The DG model is similar but not quite the same MacBookPro11,3. If you review these two images you'll note the logic board mountings are slightly different:

The IG board have a different mount in the bottom Left (Yellow marked screw on first photo) than the DG models. I'm not sure you can mount the board.

Thank you so much for all the help. Your not negative just helping me out.

I wonder why the upper case is the same for for both models? This what ifixit is selling.
