Why won't my Samsung Duos Turn on

I was listening to music on my Samsung and after a while I put it away. Once I arrived home I tried turning it on to check my notifications, but it wouldn't react. I though at first that it might have ran out of battery, so I let it charge for on hour and still nothing. I've tried pressing the home, power, and up/down button to reset it and it hasn't worked.
