power discharge before power up
I have to disconnect the battery and power cord and do a discharge each time I turn my device.

I haven't noticed, I'll check it out next time. Also my power cord is on the recall list. HP is sending me a new one.

I checked and the dat and time are correct. I have taken the battery out and only run off AC. It seems to be working, maybe it is the battery. Thanks for the help.
you may have to change the Bios/Cmos Battery ... When you turn the laptop on does your time reset ?
