I factory resetted my laptop but now it says its not activated and i cant access some files saying im not permitted to do so. Please help, my os is windows 10

Hey Daemon,
Sounds like you just need to activate Windows 10. Here is the relevant Microsoft support
The excerpt you need is:
Select the Start button, then select Settings > Update & security > Activation.

I have already pressed the button for activation but still it doesnt activate, i cant change my product key because i dont have it since there is no sticker or anything attached with the keys :(
Is there an option the activate by phone? That may work better. They will give you a code to call in with and give you a different code to enter.
https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help... has a list of error codes. You should have your key either on the bottom of the laptop or on a card that came with it.
Unfortunately if you cannot find the product key, you may have to pay for another one.
I didnt try the activation by phone because i dont have the keys for the os as it was not attached or anywhere to be found, btw thanks for answerin do really appreaciate it
