Connect digitizer on the Thinkpad Helix

Hello,

I recently got a second hand Helix, the seller said that it has a digitizer, but the driver doesn't work.

When I open it up, the screen does seem to have a digitizer:

but the digitizer cable is not there:

so it seems that this is a model that doesn't come with a digitizer, but later the screen is replaced with one that has it.

I am planning to order a digitizer cable and try to connect it, would that fix the digitizer functionality?
