Camera turn itself off and LCD Screen turns black

Hey guys, your opinion and help is needed. I fell down during a hike with my camera hung around my neck. It touched the floor but didn't really drop onto the floor. No scratch, nothing's broken at the surface. However, when I press the on button, I can hear the sound of the shutter but the screen is black, and within seconds the camera turns off by itself. I took out the battery, recharged and put it back. I also tried using another lens but it doesn't work. When I tried connecting the camera to my laptop, it works fine. So I suspect it is the shutter/ main board problem. Any idea what should I do with it? Will it worth the repair/ replace?
